2017 Magharibi Michezo Awards Footballer of the Year Patrick Matasi

Magharibi Michezo Awards 2016 and 2017 Footballers of the season John Mark Makwatta and Patrick Matasi have been recalled to the national soccer team Harambee Stars.

Makwatta who is in top form this season for AFC Leopards is expected to  make a solid return in the national team as coach Francis Kimanzi  prepares his side for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Egypt and Togo.
